Hello, My name is c/2d Lt Sean N. Scharlau. I am a staff advisor for the TAK Composite Squadron of Western New York Group.
The internet is a an excellent resource and also provides a large wealth of information. It is my personal feeling that all squadrons should have a squadron website, for the purpose of communicating and providing valuable timesaving resources for both the cadets and senior members alike.
With this being said I would like to offer my services and advice, free of charge of course, to any cadet or senior member interested in starting up their own squadron website. I currently run my own web design business and am currently working on several squadron sites right now(I hope to have a link to them on my profile as soon as they are complete).
Setting up a website is a very simple task, it only takes a few hours and can often times be done for little or no cost at all. So if you have any questions or would like some advice, please feel free to contact me.

Checked the site out and it's pretty amazing. I think it would be cool to see the authors of that page take that data and plug it into a Java Applet overlay. Which would be able to give a visual representation of flat rural area with those type of numbers as impact options.

This won't do as much good right now because, there aren't too many people that are a member of this forum yet.
That aside, as new members join I think that there is one big question that would help cadethelp out.
As a webdesign owner I understand the need for advertisement and feedback. I have done an awful lot of research on Civil Air Patrol sites on the web, and designed several myself. With the exception of my few sites and one or two others, I have never seen cadethelp mentioned.
My personal opinion is that this is an awsome resource for both new cadets as well as older ones and feel that the word should be spread.
I hope that this poll will help the site maintainers at cadethelp redefine their marketing and target plans.

Well, Unfortunately this year the "Ft. Drum Ecampment" won't be held at Ft. Drum New York due to recent and steady deployments. New York Wing is still trying to find a new home for the encampment. I was selected as the Logistics OIC for this year and look forward to the encampment.

Unfortunately I have not had the time nor the money to attend an NCSA recently.
The last NCSA that I attended was two years ago, NESA's basic and advanced MBSS course.
This year I am also unable to attend an NCSA however, I hope to be attending the wing ecampment at Ft. Drum this year as a member of the exec. staff.
