Does anyone have any really good uniform pictures? Particularly ones that outshine all others.

The National Board minutes just came out, and we are going to be allowed to keep ALL of our ribbons. Also, note the approved changes to C/Officer shoulder boards. Not sure when the new ones will come out, looks like they actually used some common sense on this one.
They don't have a pic of this yet, but when I find one, I'll post it here.

Ok this forum is small, but I am going to get another staff member to help me manage it. C/Capt. VanderVieren has helped with the site in the past, and will be a good choice as a moderator.
I'm calling the staff CadetHelp Omnipresent Wardens. CHOW. Kinda catchy, huh?

I am looking to create a new logo for Cadethelp. If anyone has any ideas, possible drawings, or something you scrawled in crayon, please send 'em this way!

Well, I'm going to be out of town doing NCSA work. I will be at [glow=red,2,300]AFSCFC[/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]ATA[/glow]for the next two weeks. I will have internet access, but don't expect a quick response.

There is a new guide installment on the site: drill sheets.
These drill sheets are especially for the aspiring flight commander or new cadet.

Welcome to the new Cadethelp! forum. Feel free to chat with anyone about anything here. Just a few rules to keep our forum clean: - You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone (this includes bashing someone by name. Theoretical discussions of leadership situations is acceptable, but when you start naming names, squadrons & wings, that crosses the line)
- You will not use profanity in the forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content.
- You will respect other people's right to personal privacy and will not post any other person's identifying information (including their names, contact information, and any other relevant information) within the forum but your own.
- You will not use these forums to violate any laws, regulations, manuals or other published guidance of higher HQ, or to discuss illegal, immoral or fattening activities.
- You will not to impersonate any person or entity, forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any posting, nor collect or store personal data about other users.
- You shall have one and only one user accounts. One user account per user. Additional accounts will be deactivated without warning. If you want to change your username, let me know.
- You will not post any copyrighted material, nor link to any copyrighted material (with the exception of publicly available sites and pages that the legal owners of the copyrights have created to make that material freely available to the general public), unless that copyright is owned by you or by Cadethelp.
- You will not use these Forums for the purposes of sharing or distributing viruses, licenses, registration information, software keys, "cracks," or other information designed to do harm to or allow unlawful access to any computer hardware, software, networks, or any other systems. Posting the lock combination to wing supply, while much appreciated by those of us with a military equipment fetish, is also probably not a good idea.
- You will not post advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations, all of which are inappropriate and prohibited in the Forums. You will not, furthermore, collect personal information about forum members for the purpose of sending them any such advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations through other means (email, messaging programs, etc.).
- You will not post messages that are clearly outside of the stated topic of any Forums nor disrupt a forum by deliberately posting repeated irrelevant messages or copies of identical messages (also known as "flooding").
You will not attempt to access any protected sections of the sites or Forums, nor make use of any hacks, cracks, bug exploits, etc. to bypass or modify the features of the forum software at any CadetStuff.org site. Again, leave that kind of stuff to me.
If any of the rules listed above are broken, you may be temporarily banned from the Forum. Oh yes, the most important thing is: have fun! Couteousness is always appreciated. Customs and Curtesies will be practiced, but I won't kill you if you accidentally call me sergeant.

Ok, here's a cool AE link: www.lpl.arizona.edu/impacteffects/Its called the Earth Impact Effects Program and it shows how craters from asteroids will look given the specific parameters. It also shows what the effects will be a certain distance from the impact. Take Chesapeake Bay for an example: Projectile Diameter: 2000-3000 m Projectile Density: rock (2700 kg/m3) Impact Velocity: 20 km/s Impact Angle: 90 degrees Target Density: 2700 kg/m3 Target Type: Competent Rock Distance: 15 miles (Norfolk) Effects: Energy: 4.42 x 1021 Joules = 1.06 x 106 MegaTons TNT Something of this size hits Earth every 4,500,000 years. Crater size: 23.23 miles Thermal Radiation: Time for maximum radiation: 1.64 seconds after impact Visible fireball radius: 32.8 km = 20.4 miles The fireball appears 308.4 times larger than the sun Thermal Exposure: 3.61 x 108 Joules/m2 Duration of Irradiation: 43 seconds Radiant flux (relative to the sun): 8465.7 Effects of Thermal Radiation: Clothing ignites Much of the body suffers third degree burns Newspaper ignites Plywood flames Deciduous trees ignite Grass ignites Seismic Effects: The major seismic shaking will arrive at approximately 4.8 seconds. Richter Scale Magnitude: 8.6 (This is greater than any shaking in recorded history) Mercalli Scale Intensity at a distance of 24.15 km: XI. Rails bent greatly. Underground pipelines completely out of service. General panic. Conspicuous cracks in ground. Ejecta (Excavated debris): The ejecta will arrive approximately 70.4 seconds after the impact. Your position is beneath the continuous ejecta deposit. Average Ejecta Thickness: 267.8 m = 878.76 ft Air Blast: The air blast will arrive at approximately 80.5 seconds. Peak Overpressure: 5955030.9 Pa = 59.5503 bars = 845.6144 psi Max wind velocity: 1768.9 m/s = 3956.9 mph Sound Intensity: 135 dB (Dangerously Loud) Damage Description: Multistory wall-bearing buildings will collapse. Wood frame buildings will almost completely collapse. Multistory steel-framed office-type buildings will suffer extreme frame distortion, incipient collapse. Highway truss bridges will collapse. Highway girder bridges will collapse. Glass windows will shatter. Cars and trucks will be largely displaced and grossly distorted and will require rebuilding before use. Up to 90 percent of trees blown down; remainder stripped of branches and leaves. Sound like fun?

I have a few suggestions: 1. change forum colors to cap or af colors. (purple, sky blue, and green?) Note to self: don't create forum when half-awake.I've been thinking of having a new forum at excoboard.com. Looks a lot more professional. Like it? How? Where? Another project that I am undertaking is making a database of all unit/wing/region websites. I'll be asking them to add a link to cadethelp.

Okay, I checked the site out, ant it looks kosher. I'll sign up and see what happens. It will mean more ads, a problem that is plaguing cadethelp from the free geocities.
Once the new cadethelp site moves to cadethelp.org in a month, I'll put this up. Just be sure to click on the ads!

Ok, at the bottom of the main page there are two buttons. The button on the left will let you subscribe to bravenet.com, a webmaster resource site. If you do this, Cadethelp will get 3 bucks. If you click the button on the right, you will be able to donate any amount of money to Cadethelp via PayPal.
Hopefully, if enough people donate, Cadethelp will grow exponentially.

I'm planning on changing the site address to cadethelp.org. ;D I've found a decent place to host it, but I need one thing, money! Does anyone have any good ways of raising some cash for this?
