My schedule changed too from the time that I got my bill to the time that classes started, about 3 weeks, but it was only the professor. I have learned to always check the weekend before classes start to make sure that everything is the same and I don't miss my classes.
I have about three weeks left of my school term and then I will be done until January. I'm attending Kettering University in Flint, MI majoring in Electrical Engineering. When I'm not taking classes, I also work for Lear Corporation, an automotive interiors, electroncs, and seating supplier. As soon as I take my finals in a few weeks, I will be a Senior!!! WOOHOO!!!
I also thought about Aerospace Engineering, but found out that there were really no job prospects, so I decided to go with Electrical. Now I'm working in the automotive industry, so I have really no idea what I am going to do. I'm still thinking about getting a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering after I graduate. Still undecided though.

I'm from Grand Blanc, Michigan, just south of Flint and about 60 miles north of Detroit.

Cutouts

Has anyone heard anything about cadets not wearing the CAP cutouts on their uniforms anymore? I was at our meeting this week and some of the cadets were getting issued more chevrons because they have to wear them on both sides of the collar now, and not just the right side.
When I asked then about it, they said that the Air Force changed and now we are changing with them. I tried to look at the 39-1 on-line and it did not reflect this.

I looked in the CAPM 39-1 and it never says anything specifically about boonies but here are a few references. And this is the e-mail that our Wing CC sent out in reference to them. I hope this works, but if it doesn't I will send it to you.

Boonie hats can be authorized for special purposes. In Michigan Wing, the wing commander has allowed boonies to be worn by members attending MIWG SAR Academy, but only when in and around base. Other than that, normal BDU covers are to be worn, especially when members travel into town and are in public view.
The reason the boonie is worn in this case (besides the wearing of a black t-shirt instead of brown) is to destinguish staff members from students.
So, in short this is possible for special occassions.

I would have to verify this in the uniform manual, but I think that I read something recently that CAP is now allowing you to wear one (1) pager, cell phone, PDA, etc. on your belt while in uniform.
